Family Fridays

We've always been a close-knit family. We love going everywhere together. And if the kids are anything like me, they've got a wealth of memories already locked away in their mental database. :)

Well, we're going to start a new tradition called Family Fridays. :) As long as my work schedule allows us to be a whole family on Fridays, we will use this time to do things that the kids have been wanting to do all week long, but time didn't allow us to get to it. So if that's playing a plethora of board games, we'll do it. If there's a particular movie they want to watch, we'll turn it into something even more - theater night (lights off, popcorn ready, candy in hand, and drink close by). If there's a Wii game the kids have been wanting to play as a family, we'll do that, too.

This will also mean a later bedtime for the kids. They'll love this, too. :)

We want to pass down some good family traditions to our children. And if Family Fridays is one of them, they'll know HOW. IMPORTANT. FAMILY. IS. when it comes to their own family time. :)

P.S. Family Friday will not take the place of all the other family things we do due during the week. Just had to throw that out there.
